An Embarrassment

I stepped out of my apartment today, going to the laundry room, and saw a letter folded and hanging on two of my neighbor's doorknobs. They plainly said "notice to vacate." There wasn't anything discrete about them. They could have been turned around, but they weren't. They were there for God and the rest of the world to see. I paid my rent on the 6th of the month this past June, it fell on a Sunday. Low and behold, I had my rent check returned on Tues and I had to get a Cashier's check to pay my rent Wednesday morning. On Thurs (10th), despite having made my late payment right, I had a court document taped to my door. I was 1 day late paying the rent!!! I have complained about there not being any hot water at certain times of the day for the past month. I've written two letters, do you think they put out the effort to fix the hot water that they did to collect my rent that was one day late' Of course not! I still have to take lukewarm showers and baths. I've lived here for 2.5 yrs, the neighbors who had the notice to vacate letters have lived here longer than I have. White Springs has no loyalty to their longtime residents. They have no people/customer service skills whatsoever. They're rude, unless they're coaxing you into signing a lease. One of my horrifying experiences: The maintenance man walked into my apartment and said "maintenance" while he was standing in my living room last month. I was still lying in bed!!! It was 10am. He walked in without knocking and White Springs says it's my word against his. As a single female, living alone, I don't recommend White Springs to another female living alone. I feel like I have to stand up for myself and like I'm being personally attacked whenever there is anything wrong or needs maintenance. Really, it's just not worth the fight anymore. I don't plan on renewing my lease. White Springs is a joke, the managers and staff are jokers ONLY there to take your money. They don't care. The place will be a slum soon. Maintenance is only being done to the exterior of the building. New tenants aren't that stupid, you can't hide neglect.
