I have lived here for 3 yrs now and I have not had any problems with Willowbrook. I feel the ladies in the office are all very nice. I never have to ask more than once to get my repairs done. I have a very good relationship with the Maintenance team. ----- is the quiet one and keeps to himself. I can see how some people may take it the wrong way because he in not out spoken. I know from working in customer service that you can not make everyone happy even though you can try really hard. My apartment is large and it is very quiet. I have lived in apartments for over 10 yrs now and if I wanted to I could find something wrong with everyone. Don't listen to anyone but yourself. Stop by and see for yourself. AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt

WHAT! You are one of the ONLY people who describe their experience like this. I have spoken to multiple people, from different buildings, and it seems to be that the majority of folks experience frustration and repeated aggravation here. In the past 5 months, my sink has needed TWICE to be snaked, multiple visits by the exterminator for mice poop everywhere in the kitchen, loud base sounds from the apartments surrounding mine, etc. I am not sure if you work for the complex, because honestly everything you have written is inconsistent with the general opinion of Willowbrook. YES, the apartments are large and generally pretty, the maintenance is HORRIBLE. In regards to ----- - yes, he is quiet, but is NOT (and I repeat - NOT) friendly. He has an attitude and he gives off the feeling that it is YOUR fault that something is broken with the apartment. And again, this is not just from me, but multiple people have complained about him. The only reasonable maintanence people are ------ and ---- (the big boss). The reality is that this place has the potential to be a real steal. Its in a nice location and generally nice apartments. BUT, because of the cheapness of the maintenance and the lack of work ethic that exists here, it has problems that just repeat themselves - over and over and over again. Across the street is the Pickwick apartments - now THEY have a waiting list to get into them! My gosh -- that shows to you just how people like living there...according to the people I've spoken to, at Pickwick, they have excellent maintanence - and its true, that for them you only have to call once to get someone to come... Let's be realistic, the person that wrote this review probably works at Willowbrook, or has some personal reason for writing this...

I totally agree with the comment! That person HAS to work for the complex because maintenance is horrible! The do the cheapest work that I have ever seen as if they are using their own money! Everything in the apt is old and that is why it breaks all the time!

I ABSOLUTELY agree with the 2 comments made above--I also know for a fact that intermittently the office staff checks the reviews and writes in their own comments to counter-balance the bad reviews. I have several questions that need to be answered: 1. Why does the rental office send out monthly flyers telling tenants that if they refer a new tenant, they will receive a $300 credit to their next month's rent? 2. If this is such a desirable place to live, then why isn't there a waiting list? 3. Why are there about 20 tenants moving out every month for every 1 tenant moving in? IT DOESN'T TAKE A ROCKET SCIENTIST TO FIGURE THIS ONE OUT!!
