Willowbrook Apts are the dirtiest and most unmaintained place that I have ever lived! I am so digusted because I paid them rent monthly and on time! My wife and I should have been on the payroll with the amount of trash that we have picked up behind people! They obviously let anyone move in. Trash is everywhere; in the lobbies, hallways, and don't let me get started on the staircases. The staircases reak of urine and they are filthy! The hallways have an old outdated blue carpet and they are dreary and do not make you feel good about coming home. The rental office's model is a facade. That is not a representation of the other buildings. DON'T BE FOOLED! Needless to say, we don't have many visitors. We are embarrassed! This place is beneath us and as soon as our lease is up we are out of here! They have trash shutes on every floor and they smell and stink up the hallways. The residents here do not care about cleanliness and neither does management or else they would make efforts to crack down on things and make changes. They make broken promises about "painting the balconies"...which was never done and that was at least 3 months ago. Their elevators are outdated and need to be upgraded. They don't even work properly. People even carve their names in the wood in the elevators. They closed abruptly on an elderly man in a wheelchair. Those elevators are a lawsuit waiting to happen. This place reminds me of the projects. Maintenance is horrible!! I mean horrible! They take forever to come out to your apt. I try to be Mr. Fix It and do it myself because I get impatient waiting on them. Their work is classless and tasteless anyway. They leave footprints and dirt behind. They don't even care to clean up behind themselves. Their storage areas are old and some parts of the ceilings have caved in. Forget about security because that doesn't exist. The locked entry is a joke because the residents are so lazy to take the extra effort in turning their key to make sure that the door properly locks behind them. Every night when I come home from work the keylock is adjusted to be open. The back staircases are also left open because people put sticks in them to jam it for easy entry. LAZINESS is all that I can say! This happens even after the doors were replaced. Mice, roaches, and all types of bugs are your roomates. I am a honest person and take it from me you DO NOT want to move here. I know that the rent may be less expensive than others but as the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for"...low class management who could give a rat's a$$ about their residents, low class maintenance staff, and low class neighbors.

40 more for rent for water, trash, etc??? Whats the big deal? When you buy a car you dont anticipate the money for gas?? or maint?? Get real.

This response had to be from someone from the leasing office again! The point is that these dirty & outdated apts aren't worth it!!! Do some updates and promote safety and then you won't have to worry about people writing negative comments on here!
