I wouldn't say the WORST place but I think for the rent amount and huge water bills and the huge BGE bills, it could def be better!! I am not renewing my lease and I've been here for a year. I am moving out of state because MD is way too high everything! But as far as the apartment goes...here are my complaints. I am 1 person living on the 3rd floor. I keep my heat on 70 degrees and because of my cathedral ceilings and my bedrooms are on a outside wall, I freeze. I don't want to turn up my heat because I'm already paying about $200.00/month to BGE. My water bills (again 1 person) is $45/month. My bedroom has been infested with lady bugs the whole time i've lived here. At first I didn't mind, but then seeing about 10 dead bugs on my carpet is really gross. I do find my apartment to be very drafty. The key fob has never worked, nor can any vistors dial my apt number because I don't have a local phone number'' So I've had to come downstairs to let anyone in. And half the time the door isn't shut all the way for whatever reason' So that's not really secure at all!!! My mailbox has been broken for about 6 months now. It takes maintenance about 2-3 weeks to fix whatever is broken because they are short staffed and don't work on the weekends. When I first moved in my A/C was broken and they were prompt in replacing it with a new one. I do love the layout and the size of my apartment. It also has alot of great upgraded features. I do not like how small the master bedroom bathroom is. My closet is bigger than the bathroom. The swimming pool is closed Mondays and not open until 12pm all the other days. Which was kind of annoying. But overall I'd say for the rent it's okay but for all the other bills like water and BGE I really can't afford to stay and besides I really don't want to. For the money i'd like to find a place in MD with some utilites included with rent. That would be nice!! I also find the $40/monthly pet rent a bit crazy!! And for a cat!!!!The parking here SUCKS! That's to be very honest. There is never a place to park if you come home past 8pm. On the weekends, it gets worse!!! I've had to park about 3 lots down many times!! And for the rent I pay I don't feel that's right. Also, there is no snow or ice removal on the roads or the sidewalks. So be careful in the winter months!!
Some positives are that I do feel safe here and my building is not noisy at all. But i'm sure other buildings aren't so lucky with noise.
I did however look at other places in White Marsh and found more expensive rent for less space, with the same water bills. So i'm moving out of MD to an apt that is 2 years old and my water and heat are included in my rent!!

I live in a townhouse and pay $12 a quarter for my water bill. They sound like they are padding what they charge you guys for water!
