Ok so let me say that we lived in this complex for 4 years! We rarely had any problems until they started accepting section 8 and then the neighborhood went downhill quick. The biggest complaint I had about our apartment was that our hot water heater was too small and we could not even take a 10 minute shower without the water being freezing cold! Ok so on to the bigger point. When we moved out we left the apartment in very good shape. Obviously they find something to charge you for but about 3 weeks after moving out we got a letter stating that we would be receiving 600 and change back within 45 days of moving out. So the wait began. 45 days came and went and no security deposit this is when we began calling. We would leave messages for Yolanda only for her to not return our calls. About 15 phone calls later we drove over there for them to give us the number of someone at the Bethany Group (the number was actually for someone who has nothing to do with security deposits). So now we are armed with the CEO and VP's e-mail. During this time we have done some searching and found out that The Bethany Group (the management company) is known for ripping people off! BEWARE!!

Are there any apartments that don't take Section 8 anymore??? I lived there back in the 90s and it was a safe a nice place. Section 8 has taken over Cockeysville now - you have a 1 in 3 chance of living next to 10 illegals in a one bedroom apt or a Section 8 family of 7. Sux.

That complex has gone downhill and everyone there knows it. The tenants do not take care of their own grounds (like not letting your dog do it business everywhere and not clean it up). I will admit that we liked the apartment when we lived there as I said in the review. BUT people need to know about the management company who is stealing peoples money! That is a very important fact! And it is also important that there is Section 8 in this development! Many may want to know that there are people in there (section 8 or not) that do not take care of their balconies, trash area and grass out front. I wish I would have known that this complex was going to become this way! if I had known that 4 years ago I probably would have chosen another spot to live! Knowing they were going to go down hill and then have no excuse for taking my rent every month but not giving back the security deposit I am owed! So get your facts straight that if the complex is owned by Bethany then they are part of Bethany! I am going after them for my money but other should know what it happening to former tenants!!

Get your facts straight! 99% of people on section 8 and disabled or elderly...yeah..I'd be REALLY afraid of them if I were you... Don't give the complex a bad review because of the sorry-ass company that manages it...I hear another company is coming in soon anyway. I live there with my daughter and I love the complex. Great office staff, nice maintenace men, and a good location. GO AFTER THE COMPANY FOR YOUR SECUIRTY DEPOSIT...not the complex. "The Betheny Group" is a company doing very bad, I haer the workers arent even getting paid.

I didn't get my security deposit back. They said it was because the companie were changing at the time I was about to move. The Bethany Group shouldn't be in business and should be sued. Point Blank!
