I lived at Arborview in their Liriope 1 bedroom apartment. Here is my review of the location.

First, I should start with all the pros of the complex. The community is safe and very family oriented. Parking was ample until the partments started filling up. The apartment was very well laid out with a long kitchen with lots of countertop space, in house washer and dryer, and a small den attached to the family room. The bedroom had a very nice tierred walk in closet. The apartment was on the first floor and had a porch with an outdoor storage closet where the furnace was located. Everything was electric and the water bills were very small.

Cons (for me, maybe not for you): This is not a very friendly community if you don't have kids. I'm a bachelor and I barely got a "good morning" or "hi" out of people living in my building. The issues that really concerned me were the fact that everything seemed to cost extra on top of an already high cost apartment or wasn't available. The apartment's description contains a pool, fitness room, hot tub, billiard table and tennis courts. What is not explained is that the pool has an annual fee per person with extra fees for guests, the fitness room is a few treadmills with no air conditioning, the hot tub is out of order and being removed permanently, the billiard table can only be access during leasing office hours (M-F 9-6), and the tennis courts are degraded.

All these things aside, I would have been perfectly ok with the apartment if the price was lower. Also, the complex gives you the option of attending your move out inspection. If this is at all possible, DO IT! They found some flaws I never knew existed and severely overcharged for repairs. If I had been there I might have been able to prevent this.

Sheesh, me and my Ex looked at these years back and it was not cheap then. What the heck is a Liriope anyway? The thing about the pool table is a joke - I mean are you going to take off of work and use your vacation time to rush home and use the pool table before 6pm? I bet it never gets used. Also, what is with a workout room with no A/C...I bet it smells "ripe" in there.
