There was something else I forgot to mention. After being here at Perkins Place for one year and never having a single late rent payment, my rent was raised by $40 per month for the second year. After some debate and the threat to move out immediately, it was amended to an increase of $25....still not acceptable. Anyway, I was told over and over again that the rent increases were used primarily to give raises to The Time Group employees who work so very hard and deserve more pay. Hmmmmm, I have to ask myself this........if the Office Manager at Perkins Place Community is such a hard working individual, just where the hell is she "working'" Nearly every work day when I arrive home around 4:30pm, the Admin Office is already closed. Isn't my rent increase money going toward paying their well deserved salaries' Then why is the office closed on a regular basis at least 30 minutes early every day'
