Overall, I really liked my apartment at Barclay Square. In any apartment building, there are a dozen things that you could find to complain about.

My gripes with this complex isn't anything surprising. Parking was difficult to find reasonably close to my building (but my building was in an unusual location compared to the others). The parking situtation made moving in or out more difficult. I had a 3rd level apartment and the stairs have barely enough room to accomodate large pieces of furniture during the move. Of course there's occasional noise from residents.

For pets, they say cats only, but no one gave me a hard time about the 4 ferrets I own, or even the small dog I adopted and hid from the manager for 9 months! Maintenance people are on-site and were really cool about the pets.

There's a pool, but I never tried it out. Unfortunately the playground is pretty crummy so the kids play in the street or in the grass in front of the buildings.

I visited a bunch of my friends' apartments while I rented mine and Barclay Square was definately the winner. It's an old unit (and the floor/ceiling is a bit crooked!) but it suited me and my roommates just fine. Think of it as "character!"
