The roaches are in full effect! The treatment that maintainance uses doesn't work. I went and purchased a pack of 12 roach baits and put them all over my apartment. I will say that since I put them around, my roach infestation has calmed down tremendously. For those of you with the roach issue, please go out and get the Raid roach bait and put them in the kitchen and bathroom. You will see better results than when the exterminator comes out. Now, for the rats......I saw 2 BIG RATS on my windowsill this morning. I was disgusted and mortified. This is ridiculous! What's also ridiculous is that you have to pay for using hot water. But get this, you're paying an "estimated" amount so that means if for whatever reason you were away for a month and no hot water was even used, you'd still have to pay. AIMCO SUCKS.

I must say - Late rent is late rent no matter how much it is. A bad tenanat will always write a bad review. Specially when they are the reason some apartments have roaches & when they of course get a reminder about logical things - paying your entire rent on time for starters. I must say, I have lived here for a year now & this is my second time around, I lived here before for a little over a year. Yes, I did see some roaches come after they exterminated an apartment below mine, but since I keep my apartment clean, after that incident and th ehelp of some roach killing sprays, I have not seens ANY roaches again. If you are considering moving into these apartments or any other, consider this: The only reason some people say negative things about the apartments they live in, is because they are either getting evicted, or always pay their rent late so they are always in court. I plan on renewing my lease, and I am sure that AIMCO will be happy with my decision since I know how much my monthly rent is & pay it when it is due. Think about this, if you own a house & don't pay your mortgage on time... will who will you blame? The bank? The people who sold you the house?

Unfortunately life does deal you a blow every now and again, sometime it's health and sometimes its finances -- be grateful aovonc it hasn't happened to you. I, like you, paid my rent on time in another AIMCO property (it was an overpriced dump)and it didn't matter. They don't have decent management, they have on-site bill collectors. The sole purpose of them being on the property is to collect rent. Forget maintenance, forget customer service and my list goes on and on. You should check out the reviews of the properties they own in Maryland -- everyone is not paying their rent late and everyone cannot be wrong. All the reviews are consistent with my experience. Aimco is in the business to collect money and collect money only. THEY DON'T GIVE A DAMN!
