What's Really Going On'!'!

I have only lived here a short time,I moved in in August, but I haven't had that great of an experience since moving in. The office staff was not completely honest about the price or the unit that I would be moving into. Upon my intial introduction to this community, I made it clear the unit that I was interested in. I put a $300 deposit down to hold this style of unit, and was disappointed to find that 2 months later, I still had no apartment. Once something became available, I was notified 1 week prior to moving in that the unit I was supposed to be getting wasn't available because the previous tenant decided to stay. I ended up paying almost $300 more than the initial agreed upon rate, only to learn that our unit had flood issues. This was confirmed later, when I arrived home to find water coming from the ceiling in the kitchen. I had only been in the unit for 2 months when this happened.
In additon the parking is horrendous. I have a small child, and when I come in at night, I can barely find a parking space within walking distance to my place, let alone in front of my building.
