The lighthouse has several issues with disorganized and unresponsive staff. When I first moved in, I had a severe gas leak and it took maintenance almost 3 hours to respond. The cost is quite high for a one bedroom and you have to pay all utilities. In addition, the security is inadequate and ineffectual. Smoking is encouraged at entrances to buildings, despite Maryland's strict laws against it, by having cigarette receptacles placed near the doors. The property manager seems to be clueless and new rules, restrictions are put into effect regularly. I am very disappointed with the quality of the complex overall. I lived here in 2006 and moved back in 2008. I don't remember things being this terrible prior to the new manager.
