I had few problems, though I rarely interacted with neighbors or management. Parking, as everyone is saying, was bad, especially late at night.
There was a high turn-over for the apartment below mine, so for six months I would hear blaring music at all hours, and then for six months all would be quiet.
The one benefit was that I was a UMD grad student, so the did not require a security deposit from me. In addition, there was a small reduction in rent, but that got smaller each year I stayed (from $65 off each month's rent to $20).
Any time I had a maintainence problem, they responded very quickly. For example, my A/C went out one hot summer day, and they were there repairing it within two hours of my call.
