My boyfriend and I lived at PMV for 1 year in 2001-2002 while attending the Univ. of Maryland. We had a good experience with our apartment - we never came across one rodent or bug the whole time we lived there (we also had very clean neighbors), the rent was a decent price especially with the student discount, maintenance came usually the next day and fixed any problem that we had. The worst part of living there was the lack of parking spaces. I did have my car badly scratched (keyed) one evening. It isn't the nicest neighborhood or area, but what do you expect' I knew it wasn't the safest area to begin with - but it was real close to campus.
The apartment was a nice size - bedroom was big and had a large walk-in closet, so I never had a problem with closet space.
