Not anticipating the moving hassle, but glad I'll be gone!

Where to begin. I should be honest and first say that overall (although not recommended) my stay at Townley has been decent. As the title reveals, I won??t be sad to move on. For those who read the reviews to help with your decision process, please read on. I think names are helpful, so I will include them. Ayesha- never knew one more capable of telling lies! She was the leasing consultant who helped my roommate and I during the leasing process. I won??t even begin to humor you with some of the things she told us, but you can read the review ??The Good and Not-So-Good?? for that (my roommate??s posting). Camille- Never had many interactions with her, except the one time I gave her the rent check. She always seemed annoyed, so I tended to chat with Ayesha the liar. Rhonda-handles herself well as the property manager but fails to return phone calls. Nettie- the new leasing consultant is worse than Ayesha. She claims to take messages, yet the person I intended the message to be received by never gets them. Mike- honestly seems like he drinks on the job. He was always more concerned when my roommate and I were going to invite him over for dinner. And the other staff I don??t know the names, but the two gentlemen groundskeepers are nice, and the lady groundskeeper is nice and polite as well. And finally, Mike??s partner is the one who handles the kids. Now for the listing??
1.Apartments are old and although the layouts are nice and spacious, that means the larger rooms ventilation suck (one vent in the corner of the wall??doesn??t help keep room cool or warm)
2.Since there are continuous pest problems for those who don??t take care of them, they??ll need to spray your apartment at the most INCONVIENENT time.
3.Appliances could be updated.
4.The peel and stick tiles in the kitchen??umm ok its time to actually remove the 3 additional layers before adding a new one.
5.Parking IS a problem when you live in the court and someone decides to have guest over. They don??t park in the surrounding area which leaves tenants having to do so.
6.PARTIES and KIDS are where the bulk of the loudness comes from. My prior apartment was right on a road and I rather have heard cars and fire trucks all night rather than kinds from 4-9 pm during summer nights and in the winter??ha! You might as well consider them to be right in your living room (since they hang in the halls. And with the many ethnicities I pretty much have gotten my tutorial on salsa, gospel, and when I thought there was a live steel drum band in townley.
7.Finally which is most important in the decision making process??UTILITIES. HuMMMMMM??Air still isn??t on??(May 30th) Mike himself told me the week on May 8-12 that people (meaning more than one) called to complain about freezing temperatures and therefore he wasn??t turning on the air. (Who TF was freezing in MAY and was stupid to just not use blankets or close the windows') Then I called Rhonda and she said they started the cleaning process two weeks ago (I called on the 26th which puts that at the time I talked to Mike) and two parts were broken and apparently since last season so there were emergency calls made for orders (OK WHATEVER don??t know what to believe) the heat was never an issue but cant really say it was available when some may have needed it. Water will become an issue??if they system isn??t maintained properly. We went with minimal and I mean MINIMAL hot water for a week.

Lessons learned??just don??t live in Townley or any other place where all utilities are included. Also, unless you can??t afford to do otherwise??don??t choose a place where the units are over 30 years old??unless renovated. MY lesson has been learned??and that??s why we are moving.
