Avalon at Rock Spring

The good outweighs the bad

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003
I lived at Avalon for about 8 months. My roommate used to work for the company, so we were able to get a month to month lease rather than having to commit to a year long lease.
For the most part, the neighborhood is great. Parking is ample and close to our apartment and you feel like you live in a little piece of heaven away from the noise. (The garage does a great job of keeping the highway noises away.)
While the management staff were friendly and great, I have on several occasions had packages dropped off at the office that just sat there for days. Whoever is in charge of leaving notices does a poor job at notifying the residents of new mail.
Also, I was informed that the rooms could be painted and that as long as it was a light color, the management would not charge us to paint it back since they were going to do at least one coat of paint upon move out anyway. Well, they charged us and quite hefty I might add. I'm just a bit annoyed that one thing was said which was different than what was done.
The overall construction of the place was nice. You can tell the company did not use the BEST products to construct the apartments but overall the apartments and the neighborhood is very nice. If you happened to work at one of the large corporations on Rock Forest Dr., even the better. gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7
