Having been a resident of this property for several years, I feel that I can accurately comment on the ups and downs.

Maintenance is definitely above average. In almost every case, my requests for repairs or other things were taken care of same day or within a day or two at the absolute most. The company has a 24-hour promise for things to get fixed after you phone it in. This is the case most of the time.

The property itself is beautiful and looks more like a high-end hotel than a typical apartment complex. Landscaping is nice, the parking garage is hidden from view so it is not a visual blight from the street and the buildings are very attractive. The interiors could definitely use some work, though, because people have scuffed a LOT of the hallway walls when moving. It seems like they paint rarely or not at all maybe on the interior hallways of the property'''

Apartments themselves are very nice. High ceilings, new appliances, nice floor tiles and carpet. Microwaves in all kitchens. My unit had new carpet and fresh paint at move in.

The front office staff is good, but has changed a LOT since we moved in. I see new faces every few months, but that seems to be the nature of the industry from my time living in rental places all over. That said, it seems like there are not enough people currently working there. I don't know if they have cut back or if they just have not hired enough replacements, but to staff seems like they are running all over the place now when I go in. Time to hire some new people like NOW maybe''''

A previous poster said the office was in complete disarray and chaotic. That is a major exageration, in my honest opinion. Poeple are friendly, I don't see "personal information and files" sitting anywhere out in the open or any of the other stuff brought up. I think someone just was having a bad day or has a personal vendetta against the management there. Again, they do seem like they need some more help in the office, though. Seems like there is an empty office or two everytime I go in there....and no bodies to fill it.

All said and done, I enjoy living here, feel like I pay reasonable prices for the Bethesda area and would renew for another year.
