Avalon at Rock Spring

I live here now and I cannot wait to leave. It is 3:30am and I am up for the third time this week because of the frat mentality of a few of the residents here. Some of these people work in the building in some capacity or another and feel living in this place is an extension of high school and have absolutely no regard for other people living here. My windows overlook the parking lot in front of the leasing office and this same group of people turn it into a party a few times a week; they especially like doing it Tuesday nights. The cops were here twice tonight but this only quited them down for a few minutes.
I see many broken car windows in the parking garage. One morning there were three. They claim to have security cameras, turns out these are only on the first floor. Plus, the pedestrian entrance to the garage is broken so it is always unlocked making it easy for anyone to come in and break into cars. The staff must be aware of the breakins and the broken door but must think this is just a coincidence. Fortunately I do not have a car.
Also, yes they have a pool with a lifeguard, but I was told by another staff person (when I moved in) that she can't even swim - so she may have learned in the last year unless it is a new one this year but I do not think it is. Regardless, I hear the current lifeguard screaming until all hours in the morning so I know she can yell, so in the least she can alert others if someone is in trouble.
Otherwise the place is fine. No worse than any other apartment complex around Bethesda. The leasing agents are really great actually. It may take a little while for some things to get done, but they do get done what is asked of them. Just do not keep anything of value in your car. If this is important to you, double check that the lifeguard is actually a lifeguard. And make sure you get an apartment that does not face the leasing office if you want to get any sleep.

You must be a retard to think the "lifeguard" can't swim. WTF??? First off, The life guards have to pass a swim test and all other sorts of certs. Second, The pool is 3'6". If you drown in that you are stupid. Lady get a life and take you panties out of a bunch...

I guess you were never less than 4 feet tall. Us retards have to suffer our small stupid children who like to swim and lifeguards that do not want them to swim nearby (this is true - a lifeguard told a small child to swim somewhere else after the child began swimming near her because the child's grandfather was too tired to stay in the pool longer, she did this between the text messaging she does with her phone hidden under the life preserver they carry).
Regardless, your mother must be so proud of you. Clearly you are a cut above. Good for you. I can only hope and pray that my kids will be the complete opposite.
