I've lived in 4998 Battery Lane for 4 years now, and although it isn't luxurious, it is CHEAP! I have an extremely spacious 1300 square foot apartment. I'm on the top floor, so noise does not affect me so much, but I have heard others complain about noise from upstairs neighbors. The insulation is not good. So maybe consider renting here if you want to live in an excellent location, for a great price, and can secure yourself an apt. on the top floor. BTW, since the beginning of 2008, the apartments have been renovated as and when tenants move out. Newly renovated apartments have carpets, dish washers, upgraded kitchens and bathrooms. This person is obviously not reviewing Battery Lane Apartments. He or shee is reviewing an apartment on battery lane, there are tons of buildings on Battery Lane. Please be specific, I would hate for someone to move into Battery Lane Apartments thinking it is okay.

Mr. Powick uses your reference information inappropriately. Its a great place but he will call your personal professional and work references and leave a message implying that you are either being evasive or not paying your rent. It is humiliating. He does this whenever he can't reach not, not just when there is an issue.
