I've lived in the Battery Ln apts since the beginning of 2008 and I have to say it's okay for what you pay for. It's very cheap for living in downtown Bethesda. It's close to the metro and all the bars and restaurants. I have to say it is often noisy. My roommate and I live on the first floor, which is great because we have a second entrance however we hear every footstep that the upstair neighbors make and we can smell what our next door neighbor is cooking (mostly fish and garlic!)The maintanance guys have always been very responsive however can be a bit noisy when maintaining the premises. I recommend this place if it's your first place and can't afford the other apartment buildings in Bethesda, which will run you 2 times as much as Battery Ln.
