My girlfriend and I have lived in Crescent Plaza for 2 years and absolutely loved it. We moved out to return to school out of the area. We chose it because it is an extremely beautiful new building in the precise location we wanted. Also the price was significantly lower than other apartments in the area because it does not have a pool, large exercise facility, 24 hr concierge, etc. - and we felt we wouldn't really use these things since we belong to a real gym and like to travel frequently.

When we did the initial inspection of the apartment there were a few minor cosmetic problems in the bathroom and kitchen that we pointed out and they were fixed that afternoon before we moved in the next day. For the rest of our time there all maintenance requests (including a new dishwasher!) were done same day.

The building is cared for extremely well. The halls are repainted frequently. The lobby is always immaculate, and they frequently steam clean the hallway carpets.

The building is also eerily quiet. It was full when we moved in but for the first few months we were unsure if anyone else lived on our floor or above or below us.

Kelly in the front office is extremely helpful. We had a problem with some neighbors who made a lot of noise and she spoke with them and it was never a problem again. Overall everyone at Crescent Plaza is very friendly and pleasant. I think it has gotten relatively more expensive in the past two years but it would still be my first choice in downtown Bethesda. There are other places that have incredible amenities but rent is exceptionally expensive and I?d rather be in control of the money I spend on those sorts of things.
