This is such a great building to live! After searching for many months in the downtown Bethesda area I realized that I did not want to pay $1600 for a 800 sq ft apartment, nor did I want to live a 20 minute walk from anything. I have lived here for about 4 months and I think this is the best of all worlds. The rent is very low compared to all the new "luxary" places that have come into the area recently. And I live within a 10 minute walk of anything in downtown Bethesda. If you NEED to have an apartment that has all the latest amenities (i.e. high speed internet, granite countertops, brand new appliances, washer/dryer in unit) then this place may not be for you. It is an older building, but the maintenance and management staff are very helpful and any problems I have had have been corrected in a very timely fashion and they are all great to work with. So that being said I would say the only downfall is the age of the building, I am guessing it was built in the mid 60's, but it does not show its age at all. Overall, in my mind there is not a better apartment building in Bethesda.....but good luck finding a vacancy in this building, they go very quickly.
