Yes, it's nice to be in downtown Bethesda BUT if you're paying almost $2,000 a month for a one bedroom apartment, you don't expect to go to a workout room in the early morning and see a homeless person sleeping on a work out mat. The Metropolitan is not the Whitney or Pallisades, and if you're going to raise your rent and your parking fees, you'll need to make some major adjustments. Put simply, you can't have it both ways.

Thank-you for being honest about your experience living at the Metropolitan. I am a single female looking for a safe one bedroom and I thought the outside of the building looked so nice. I guess you can't judge a book by its cover. I would be so scared if I went to work out and there was somebody sleeping there on a mat. Thank-you again, Jessie

I currently rent at the Metro. I am amazed at this post, "lipstick on a pig" huh?
I informed the front desk person about a homeless person who was in the workout room at 2am. The front desk person did not care. Often, I see this same servely obese homeless person drinking cofee in the lobby.
I am a man and this homeless person scares me moreso than the wheelchair person who lives in the building and spends the entire weekend in the front lobby trying to engage people.
