Parkside is a charming, closed-off community with trees, flowers and low-rise apartment buildings (condominiums). Most people living there are either singles, young families (who usually move to homes after living at Parkside) or elder people. The apartments are near the Metro and Strathmore Hall, convenient to shopping, close to DC, safe and quiet. The rent is competitive; parking available for everyone; pool and tennis court facilities, as well as a social centre for courses such as Tai Chi, etc.
