I have lived at the Rosedale Park for a little over a year now. The front office workers, especially Joe and Kim, are always quite nice and friendly. They answer all of my questions, keep track of my packages, and assist me with any issues I have with my apartment. There is one woman who works at the front desk who is quite cold and unhelpful. She reminds me of the wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz. Gray hair, glasses, long nose... Anyway, I get the impression that she feels she is too important to help me whenever I ask her a question. She spends too much time on the phone, and I'm fairly certain she is ignorant enough to let advertisers and thieves into the building.

The HVAC system is extremely noisy. It used to bother me when I first moved in, but I've grown accustomed to it.

The biggest inconvenience in the building is the elevator and front door system. They require a special transmitter to allow admittance into the building. While it does its job of keeping strangers out, it provides a great inconvenience for those who are having guests over. It's a real pain in the butt to walk downstairs and open the door for each guest that arrives.

The parking lot seems relatively safe. I haven't had any problems; however, I have noticed that there are no cameras, and the garage is open to the public from 7am until 930pm.

I wish the gym was bigger. You can't do much with two treadmills, a pseudo-eliptical machine, an exercycle, and a couple weight machines. Also, one weight bench is simply not enough for an entire building.

I have read some complaints on here about the walls being thin. I have personally not had any problems. I had one complaint from a neighbor when I was blasting my music, but other than that I haven't heard anyone or from anyone.

All in all, I have enjoyed my stay at the Rosedale Park, and I will continue to leave there until I move from Bethesda.
