I have lived here for about a year now and it has been an overall positive experience. The buildings are kept well aesthetically, the trash room is emptied regularly and isn't piled up or smelly, the underground parking is a Godsend, and the neighbors are real friendly and quiet. The on-site apartment staff has always been helpful and attentive to my needs.

Onto the negatives.

Outside noise - if you live on the side of the apt building facing Wisconsin Ave, enjoy waking up to the sound of sirens and gratuitous honking from ambulances/firetrucks originating from the volunteer firehouse down Battery Ln between the hours of midnight and 2am, worse if it's raining/snowing. Eventually you'll be able to tune it out, but it's quite annoying your first couple months.

Management company - I'm not the first to report problems with the management company and I probably won't be the last. I'm specifically targetting the accounting department - we've had many discussions over the phone. Although it all gets sorted out eventually, it'd be nice if this didn't happen once every 2 months.

Other than that, this is a relatively nice place to live and I'd recommend it to anyone that can afford it. bYr9ljUwtCbMRXE8dRDC
