I have to agree with everything the other folks have posted. The one good thing I can say about the place is that it is internally quiet - almost like a nursing home at times. The staff (except for the front desk people) are all very nice and work with what they have. The bad things are that there are decades of dirt in the bathrooms - complete with pink and yellow bath fixtures (always nice conversation with guests). The repair work is always just awful - there is nothing good to say about that. Not all apartments have a dishwasher - we got around it by buying a portable one. I have seen some cockroaches, but set out appropriate traps and haven't seen any since in my apartment at least. Residents are not very friendly and some are just down-right weird. Rent is affordable but you really get nothing for it. Security is not optimal - but I keep the door locked all the time, so I feel safe in my apartment. Area restaurants are fantastic! Easy access to beltway, 270 and not too difficult to get downtown from there. I've lived there for 2.5 years, but I am tired of the lack of amenities. It was nice while I was trying to save some money, but I need to get out. Plus this place is going to look even more like the ghetto once the luxury place is opened next door. After Southern Management opens that one, I would think they'll have to gut or level Triagle Towers within the next 5-10 years.
