Nice amount of space, but price increases were harsh

A lot of nice things about the place - I felt safe, the staff was usually pretty helpful. I liked the apartment itself, there was a lot of space and I liked the Bethesda location.
But they quickly priced us out of the apartment with rent increases of 9-10% annually. They were also very cheap with air conditioning/heat. I remember my wife and I having to go out to eat every night because the apartment was way too hot, and they refused to turn on the air conditioning in April. It would also often break, and you would wake up in the middle of the night sweating from the heat.
It was also irritating that the businesses/yoga people would constantly clog the elevators.
But I sound bitter, I don't mean it that way. If you have the money, it's a much better value than anything else I ever checked out in Bethesda. They allow pets, albeit with a $25/month pet rent. It is very nice that they offer free pet sitting if you ever need to leave town.
Be careful about washers/dryers. Expensive, busy and also would often not working but not be labeled out of order - you would notice when you came back down and your clothes were still soaking wet.
