I have just moved out of the Triangle Towers after having lived there fore about 7 years. The experience I have had there is wonderful. The building is super centrally located in downtown Bethesda near two(!) metrostops on the red line, two grocery stores (Giant and Safeway), two post offices (and also a mailbox on the street corner), many famous medical facilities (National Institutes of Health, Navy Medical Center and Suburban Hospital), a good library, a CVS, many banks (Wachovia, Chevy Chase, Suntrust etc.) and brokerages (Schwab, Fidelity etc.) and numerous restaurants that have received great reviews from Washingtonian Magazine. The current management was there before I moved in seven years ago and the service I have experienced from them was consistently solid. They were very responsive to my concerns and I also feel that the rent has been very reasonable compared to most other rents in the area, particularly considering the fact that this building is located so well inside the Beltway. Many buildings outside of the Beltway (in North Bethesda and Rockville for instance) charge more and offer less. Pool, gym and laundry room are also great and well maintained. The only downside I see is that in the summer time the (often snobbish) people from the neighboring Palisades building (from Southern Management as well) also get to make use of our swimming pool. Their rents are much higher and they therefore feel that they are better than everyone else and entitled to better service. I can look back at a wonderful time in Triangle Towers and would not have moved out if it weren't for my new job in Europe.
