I have been at Autumn Woods for over a year now. My first year there, everything was going pretty good. Then all hell broke loose. Management changed hands, and the people that they have working in the rental office call themselves professionals, but I beg to differ. There are three individuals there that do not know how to speak to and address residents in a professional manner. They are rude and very unprofessional. The only two, in my opinion, that deserve my respect is Tatianna, and Tiffany. Tatianna tries very hard to resolve any issues that you may have. She gets an A . Tiffany is always very courteous and helpful. However, overall management,(Landex) needs to do more to insure a stress-free and habital environment for hard-working residents that struggle to pay for rent each month. Half of the time the "free" cable goes out, especially when there is a storm, and the internet.. it's off more times than its on. So don't plan on working from home on the computer! They say pets are only allowed if you were a previous tenant of Autumn Woods that had a pet before the renovations. Why do so many people have dogs'
The laundry rooms are so trifle here that people go to wash their clothes at the new laundromat located beside the store.

The grounds of Autumn Woods look decent.. that's if you live down by the rental office, You do the math. I despise having to leave my home everyday, only to walk across drug paraphanalia, tobacco from cigars left by people who refuse to go where they live to do drugs, and trash and food wrappings all over the place.

The maintenance men are lazy. I have watched them call themselves picking up trash off the property, only to leave more than they picked up. And if you live on the second or third level... forget about it! They never climb stairs to sweep or clean.
Bladensburg Police...now that's another subject. They are very visible in the daytime, but at night, I mean after 11:00 pm, you, your safety and your car are pretty much on your own. I had someone to egg my car one night and messed up my paint. I called the police the next day, only to have them tell me that it may have been a personal issue...Funny! I don't socialize with anyone here at Autumn Woods. And my personal life definately didn't have anything to do with it. We need the police after 11:00 pm.

The teenagers are constantly hanging out at all times of the night, making noise(the walls and structure of Autumn Woods are already thin enough) You can hear what they are saying word for word. Where are their parents' People have to go to work the next day, only to be exhausted because they couldn't sleep the night before because of teenagers. Speaking of noise..if you live underneath someone, expect to be waken up late at night or VERY early in the morning from the vacuum, or hard walking. I can sit in my bedroom and hear what my next door neighbor is saying.. word for word...(walls are VERY thin)

Maintenance came into my apartment three times without informing me. Twice for extermination, and once for inspections. I notified the leasing office that this was definately not acceptable, only to be told that they would enhance their system of informing residents beforehand. If your rent was late, do you think they would have a problem informing you'

So, for all of you that are considering living here at Autumn Woods.. beware. Do your search for a livable home and environment very well. I plan on moving very soon, even if I have to break my lease. At least I will know that I am safe, as well as my property. Be Blessed...

yes this is so true . please don't move in with your family. I'm a mother with 3children and no one could pay me to live back here. This is so true i had to go down the office many of times it's to the point i will never call . if your looking for safety this not the place i walk outside my car was up in the air with no wheels yes . someone had stole my tires off my car. it was some kids you call the police it's over it's like calling dogs they come and do nothing don't even bite . No one is never at that lil station you call the police they take so long to come . Trash is always on the ground even bye the trash cans it's like baby SE IT'S THE HOOD .they never come clean up maybe like 1day out a week never .But the school Port Towns Ele is great i love that school teachers really care that shool is the best .
