I have read all of the other reviews and I am totally shocked!!! I have lived here since 1999 and I have never been a victim of any crimes and I lived in 2 different apartments here. The office staff has always been extremely helpful. I'm not saying that they do everything I want, but they do try to help and will tell me why they cant. The maintenance have always responded to my problems and again have always tried to fix the problem immediately. If they couldnt they tell me why. They always act nice and friendly and if they are doing anything illegal, they are great about hiding it...
The apartments are old - I think they were built like 30 or 40 years ago, but the upkeep is good. My first apartment didnt have a dishwasher, because I didnt want to pay for it. They do offer dishwashers and I went ahead and got 1 in my second apartment and went ahead and paid for it because I really wanted one.
My children attend the elementary school up the street, and I love that school. The principal is better than any other principal I have ever dealt with. Even when I lived in Silver Spring in 1997-1998.
I have never seen any drug dealing on this community. I am not saying it is not possible, but if it is, its being done really quietly -- if you know about it, I have to wonder what you are doing to be involved in it (perhaps hanging out there with them''') Most of the people who work in the office live here, including the Property Manager. I see them all the time walking around the community, checking things out.
I just dont go through the problems that all the other reviewers went through (if they really do), maybe they need a little prayer in their life...
