Before I moved here in November 2003, I was skeptical because of the stuff I read on this website. However, I was fortunate to meet someone who had lived here for three years and he reassured me that he had no knowledge of a lot of the stuff being put out in the reviews I had read - especially the shooting, and car break-in complaints. The only problem he warned me about was the parking.
Having lived here for close to six months, I agree completely with what I was told. The only other problem is a roach problem, which to a large extent you have to play a part in dealing with yourself. Other than this, I have had absolutely no problems living here. My car has never been towed, never been broken in, and I have never heard of any shootings on the premises.
Overall, this is a pretty decent place to live. The management staff are nice most of the time, and gruff at other times. But they are human so what' Maintenance complaints get attended to relatively promptly, and the apartments are spacious. If you are looking for value, this is a good apartment complex to consider.
