Look. I am going to warn you up front of something a lot of people are tempted to do around here first of all. You know how people dispose of very nice furniture and late at night you see it by the garbage area and decide to repossess it for yourself' DONT DO IT!!! It propagates ROACHES...b/c guess what' That seemingly beautiful chair or table probably has hidden ROACH NESTS in them. But lmao, let's say that you don't even do that. Let's say that from July to Septempter you had a pretty good handle with your existing roaches by regulating the a/c in your apartment home. By October, they shut off the a/c...That's when the roaches get comfortable. No more a/c just warm air...Not a good damn mix- believe you me...Man don't trip off no parking...Bottom line is just know that when you move here you wont get to park here and you'll be okay...If you're not a powerwalker then the nights will become paranoid city around here b/c yes there are a lot of shady LOOKING characters around here. But if you mind your business, there are slim chances anyone will bother or even accost you- day or night...The problems of noise are not that prevalent unless you are an unlucky person and get in a building with that one neighbor...And there are a few loud people around here...mainly on weekends, but again they are confined to maybe one person every to every three or four buildings...But lets return to the roaches!!! I don't care if your name is Mister Orkin man himself, the roaches are not going to leave you alone. And there are birds who defecate everywhere during the Winter and Spring so do be aware...If you are not careful, the roaches will pick you up while you are asleep and carry you outside of your own apt...The roaches have a more likely chance of invading your property more than any theif. If you're on the bottom floor, just be mindful of your blinds...The neighbors will stare into your place...YES, even in front of you...Ummmm...Maintenance and staff hasn't been a problem...They mind their business and respond in reasonable times...But avoid extermination @ all costs. The roaches take to the bait he puts out like a pitcher of spilled pink lemonade...Trust the f*** me they do...The rent is damn high. But its the best for this area right now...Come with your own foggers, roach gel, and even though the hotels are quite the visitor eyesore, bring some and place them in inconspicuous spots and you might be able to handle the vermin gen pop. Keep Lysol on hand if you are moving children in here...The cabinets are old wood and look like they house more bacteria than Oscar the damn Grouch's trash can...Ummm...The neighbors look more menacing than they really are. Even some of the scariest of them are quite warm and down-to-earth and are usually just struggling to make a buck and keep a roof just like you, so bring yourself down a notch. I haven't heard one gunshot in months...Beware of tow trucks though...Very clandestine...If you don't drive and you don't mind taking care of a few roaches when you move in, you'll do fine. NOTE TO NEW TENANTS!!! HANDLE THE ROACHES YOU SEE WHEN YOU FIRST MOVE IN OR THEY WILL HANDLE YOU. THEY WILL INVADE ALL OF YOUR THINGS FROM CLOTHES TO BOOKS, PICTURE FRAMES TO COUCHES, NIGHTSTANDS TO TELEVISIONS...EVEN CD AND DVD CASES...Its very embarrassing to have a friend over to watch Scary Movie 4 and the Scariness begins before the movie even does...
