I DO NOT KNOW if our ethnicity is relevant or not in this issue. But if it's not, sure it looks like it does matter. It takes forever to get the application approved.
Customer service is customer disservice. Calls are never returned, and at the meantime a vacating date approaches quickly! What a feeling of desperation with kids. Especially with two babies. The experience with rental offices usually is nice and cordial because once you're signed in they let you have it hard. But here they ignore you at the get-go. I cannot imagine what follows. Better yet,you guess...

Maybe it mean yor credit was so damn bad maybe they should have just denied you on the spot cause i know i got a standard and they were trying to move me in right way. get real its a rental office they probably are busy with other applications so whats the problem with calling them sheesh people get a life if you wanted to move that bad blow their phone up.

I would like to respond to the person who responded. I don't know where you come from or who taught you the value of the money that you work so hard to earn but expecting coureous, responsive service is not a crime. What is a crime, however, is to allow suggest that someone should beg anyone to accept their money. Good customer service begins with being responive and it doesn't matter whether the answer is yes or no!

That's right... who is this guy? Does this poster realize that they only make Gateway sound worse when they respond with such stupidity?!?! Maybe that poster should "get a life" instead of responding negatively to someone elses experience, "sheesh" hahahah, lol.

I'm a little concerned that you started your rating by suggesting that your ethnicity was an issue. When I applied at this community (which was about a month and a half ago) I felt no such unresponsiveness. Maybe they were busy but I have not had any complaints about the staff. I've only been dealing with one young lady and that may be the reason. As for your waiting period on getting a decision made it does sometimes take awhile to get an answer. I know it took my app at least a week to get approved due to policy and procedure on having my info verified. I'm sorry your experience was unpleasant butmy experience was fine. I do not agree with the second poster as well, you should never have to fight to have your money accepted, very true.
