Here is what you get for less than $1000 all utilities included...

- No parking. There have been nights I couldn't go home because there was no place to park. Some residents have 3 or 4 cars to one apartment while others get their cars towed for being creative with parking spaces.
- A/C sucks. The a/c is out at least twice a month and it smells like something rotting
- Paper thin walls. I can hear everything my upstairs neighbor does...emphasis on EVERYTHING.
- Maintenance sucks. While I was out of town water leaked into my apartment from upstairs...2 months later no one has been back to fix the walls or shampoo the carpet. They are less than sympathetic about any problems or concerns you may have.
- Noise. You can hear everything that goes on in the hallway and for whatever insane reason people seem to think its cool to sit in their cars in the parking lot playing music at any hour of the day. There is also a problem with kids playing ball in the parking lot (which by the way isn't huge) and people hanging out in front of the building yelling and making noise.
- Closet space. There are only two closets in the whole apartment.
- Dishwasher stopped working in March and well...I'm writing this review in August and I'm still unable to use my dishwasher.
- Cabinet space. There are a whopping 6 cabinets in the kitchen...this just isn't enough space to hold food, pots, pans, dishes, seasoning and any other kitchen needs.

The only thing that has kept me here is the free utilities...I'll be gone in 2 months. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk

Well that's really funny because I live here at Gateway Gardens and have had a totally diferent experience. I love my apartment! I have more than six cabinets in the kitchen and have never had a problem with my A/C or my neighbors. I will admit that there are parking issues but what complex doesn't have trouble with parking? I believe each tenant is going to have a different experience but I would suggest that you guys come and look for yourself

Ok Annoymous, where do you live? closer to the leasing office? Well up here on the hill there's NEVER any parking. We have to rush home every night to find a decent spot (and decent is behind out building or the building behind us) i think it's ridiculous that Capital View (managed by the same company) has parking permits and we don't. We are a much bigger complex! When we first moved in the A/C wasn't working in dead ass June! OH YEAH:: WE HAVE MICE! found a nest in my homew yesterday in addition to that little sucker running around here like he pay rent! Seen a few roaches, plugged holes and everything. There is only so much i can do as a tenant. Another complaint: we have no sidewalk to walk on. they started digging in Sept 08, and it's now Dec adn the pile with the big ass crater hole is still there blocking the stairs... we have to trudge thru the mud in the rain sleet snow, whatever. The walls are thin, every time the folks above me have sex i fell like i'm in the room with them, i can hear wherever they walk OH and the folks that are constantly smoking cigarettes or weed, the smell can get u high! April baby April. I would never recommend this place, not unless ur truly down on ur luck, other than that you can do way better.

Some of these positive reviews are being posted by Gateway Garden Staff members, talk about the hype they just trying to cover their own butt.
