The only two good things about the apartment is the size and location everything else is horrible. I have had to leave my house on numerous occasions and use a friend?s shower because there was no hot water in the entire apartment, and the only answer I get from maintenance is we are aware of the problem and we are working on it. I live on close to the top floor and was unable to go home because I refused to walk up flights of stairs and neither one of the elevators were working. Not to mention that when they do work I have to wait about ten minutes. I have made it a habit to walk out of my apartment press the down button then go back inside to pack my lunch and hopefully by the time I walk back outside the elevator has came. The noise in the area has kept me up many nights. There seems to be a train that runs constantly all night. People honk horns in front of the building at all hours of the night. Birds are chirping loudly all night also. That leads me to the next problem, I have never seen so many birds in my life. They not only make noise that disturbs my sleep they really mess my car up so bad that I need to take it to the car wash every day. No matter where I park it is bad. That leads to the next problem, which is parking. There are a very limited number of spaces and when you do find a space you have to figure out where the white lines are. The paint has been redone several different times to make the parking spaces very small but they didn?t remove the other white lines so you just have to squeeze into a space and hope that no one scratches your car when they pull in or out. They last big problem that is just is the heat and air conditioning which never seem to work when they should. This past summer the air conditioning didn?t work until the end of June. So while it wasn?t working I had to purchase fans, which doesn?t help any they just blow around hot air. So to any one considering moving to Park Place Towers I would strongly suggest otherwise. I just recently moved there and I am definitely not renewing my lease.
