From the day that THE DONALDSON GROUP took over you have seen some much needed changes. From the firing of the lazy, unprofessional maintance staff to the removal of trash that covered the halls and parking lot of Park Place Towers. It seems as though a company with a rep such a THE DONALDSON GROUP refused to put their name on a place such as Park Place Towers. I am sure that very reason is why they have changed the name to The Phoenix, refused to lease ghetto, immigrants, trifling hood rats, begun to tare out those old fragile glass paynes that were considered windows, replacing the elevators that kept the Bladensburg Fire Department from enjoying their evening movies, tearing up the odor filled carpets that line the halls ways, put up camera s every where so that Lil Smokey s brother June Bug can stop breaking the front door to get into the building, hired rental cops that armed with guns to patrol the buildings and parking lots, giving the hall ways luxury makeovers, gutting out the dungeness basement where the old run down laundry room is located and replacing it with a state of the art Clothes care facilities , restoration of the Pool area . There is so much work taking place to restore the Towers to the jewels of Bladensburg that they once used to be. You will notice it from the time you pull up.


The one thing that I have notice is that no one seems to be ranting and raving about the good change like that had about the negative things that have taken place.

Well if this is a true review and not someone of the rental office I say THANK GOD. I lived here when it was called Park Place Towers. It was my starter apt. I LOVE MY Apartment though. I guess I was lucky because I was in the rental office building. But the elevators did stay broke and FUNKY. I never really used their laundry. I was spoiled so I always took my clothes back to granny's house to wash. (smile). But if they are indeed making changes it's definitely for the better. I used to hate coming home to the weird smells in the hall of peoples cooking. Me getting cursed out in a language I didn't know. And the narrow parking spaces that always allowed someone to hit my car. Again, if these changes really are taking place, it's definitely for the better.

I lived one of the unit in bldg 5802,i can say as a response to the one was turned down, it might be true coz i can feel like they are descriminating us, especially the people from the leasing office, they are lazy and very unprofessional especially the young lady right there it seems that she is the owner of the bldg. One time she yelled at me but because i' just a minority i ignore here beside i'm a professional person so if you think who this people are? compare to yourself but to defend themselves they descriminate others (minority group). Then another thing when i go there to pay my rental it seems nobody there they just talking and laughing, the other onethe young guy is sitting with his feet up on his chair and talking on the phone and laughing they keep me waiting until i asked 3 times (3x)note it 3x) i said excuse me, they don't hear nothing, then excuse me i'm going to pay my rental, still they ignore me until i'm pissed off, until i asked them one more like EXCUSE ME I'M GOING TO PAYMY RENTAL AND WHO'S IN-CHARGE. that's the time they asked me unprofessionally "what building, what apt no." they don't know how to say thank you, or how are you today or whatever.THE MANAGEMENT HAVE A PROJECT ABOUT A GOOD LESSEE/RENTER, A NICE ATTITUDE OF THE RENTER OR WHATEVER PROJECT THEY ARE TRYING TO MAKE. My answer to that (???????????) you have to start at your office, train them to act as a professional employee, the proper approach not trying to descriminate us because it reflect also on their personality who they are, START FIRST ON YOUR ROOM BEFORE YOU MOVE TO OTHER ROOM, LOOK ON THE MIRROR AND LOOK AT YOURSELF BEFORE YOU SEE OTHERS. This is the things i can say right now. So my friend don't blame yourself for being an immigrant you're still lucky your not dealing business with this people, and your'e not the only one feel the same way. GOD BLESS

There is more bad at these apts than good. Its gonna take alot for park place to be up to Parr.. You should ban the use of cooking GOAT, DOG AND FOWL SMELLING FISH IN THERE..

Yes I cant wait until they finished my building its very.very nice. I love my apartment so far. I am listening to some of these stories and I hope this does not happen to me. I know before I moved in they said they kicked out like 80 people.

I think the Phoenix apartments are okay, all that new stuff that they are putting into the apartment are cheap, the only thing nice about the apartments is the washer and dryer, however it takes the dryer 2-3 hours to dry your clothes. The rent is to high, i think they forgot that this is owned by the Donaldson Group, and not Donald Trump and the head Manager I think that she is Predigest, all the rest of the staff is sweet.
