I just moved into the apartment and I love it. I live in one of the renovated apts. The kitchen is the best part because It is a good size, the bedrooms are nice and spacious there is plenty of closet space. The office staff is very friendly. My consultant was Ms. Jackie is she was so sweet and informative, and I have not seen any roaches. However I did get to see a regular aptment that was not done over and I did not like it very much. The entire building is in the process of being renovated and that is definitley a plus. so I would most definitly recommend this complex to a friend or family member.

My guess is Schizophrenia, Alzheimer's, or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder because a normal person in their right state of mind could not have possibly fabricated a story like this. Or maybe the residue of Jacki's crack pipe has filled ur head and caused you to regurgitate these atrocities. In any case, I am utterly appauled that you would recommend an unsafe, filthy, uninhabitable place such as Park Place Towers to anyone else. You seem to be content in your "renovated" apartment, but how content are you when walking down the hallway where the rugs are embedded with crud and reaks of piss? How content are you when you have to cross your fingers and pray the elevator doesnt break down? How content are you when you walk out to the front of the building and see your neighbors car on bricks and the windows busted out? Lets see how content you will be when your ceiling starts to leak and Ms. Jacki hasnt gotten her fix for the day.
Ill give you 30 days to be awakened to the true nature of the place you call home. My best advice to you would be to grab a hammer, lace up your walking shoes, make sure you have some spare tires and if all else fails, keep a bag with a few rocks in it to keep Ms. Jacki happy.

Spoken like a new resident ....lol. Just wait until you walk out one morning and see your neighbors cars windows broken out and the car sitting on bricks while bracing yourself as you walk to your car praying that the same thing has not happened to your car. Then you call Ms. Jackie and she tells you that there is crime everywhere and that she has had her car broken into before and there is nothing that they can do about it. Better yet, wait until you are riding that piss odor filled elevator and it stops mid way thru the ride and you and six funky under arm Africans wait patiently for the fire department to come and pry you out. That is when you will get the most use newly renovated apartment as you walk back up the trashy stairways where Lil Bo, Smoke, Sleepy White Boy and the rest of the crew hangs out. Once back home you realize that Ms. Jackie hasn't sent anyone over to take care of that repair order that you called her about 3 times 6 weeks ago.
However I am sure the rental cops that case the place with their water guns will make you feel safe in your community.
I am glad that I don't have you as a friend or family member, because if you recommended me to a shyt hole like that, it would be the end of our friendship/relationship.
Congratulations on your newly renovated apartment......ROFLMAO........you are moving up in the world.

I concur. If you recommended this place to me OMG you would be cut off for life from any friendship that we???d ever established. I was a resident at PPT 2 years ago and it was next to the worst experience ever. Hampton on the Park was the worst ever but PPT came in second. Enjoy your new blissful life there at PPT. But one day it will come to a screeching halt and you will then realize that you live in a dump and no one gives a F*&^% about your complaints. OH and do NOT expect to get your full security deposit back. Expect the staff to make up a bullshty excuse to take at least $50-150 of your deposit for their luncheon to celebrate the new residential fool. Enjoy!

I dont know where the hell you think you moved to but this aint beverly hills. you may got a renovated apartment but i have recieved all the damn roaches and mice that ran out your ---- into mines. but trust and believe the winter is back and they will be on they way soon. i bomb my aparment once a week from this infested as place. and also try having a mice jump out of your nightstand when you open your draw or people breaking in your apartment or car. Or like last year having a man ask you for the time and when you look up showing you his ----- in the lobby, or you have to hit the alarm and call the firefighter cause your ass got stuck inthe elevator. or walking up 6 flights of steps cause that pissy ass elevator wont work. or last year when someone kidnapped a person and had them hostage like it was on the news. Did you see that?

I just moved in and so far I dont have any complaints as of yets. I see now they have cameras and real pg cops,I saw them today. I dont have any complaints because there not that many people on my floor yet. The only thing I hate is being woken up by construction. I work at a luxery apartment and they pretty much have the same issues. Dont matter where you live people are always going to complain about something.

I like the apartments. I can tell that the old management was pretty bad but it looks like the new management is doing great things. I like the head manager she seems really nice. I am in the military and they were real flexible with my lease. Ray did a standup job with everything hopefully it'll be a good place to call home.

NOT!
SERIOUSLY, I have been living in the rental office building,, which is 5802 Annapolis Rd, and it has been terrible. Everything that everyone has said negative IS TRUE! I have seen roaches everday for the past 13 months all over my apartment. Not just one or two, I'm talking about at least 10 a day. In my bathroom, on my bed, in my sheets, on my dishes in the kitchen, the living sofas, the jacket closet near my front door, I mean pretty much every place in my unit -- there are roaches in it! If you move here after reading all of these reviews, which are not ironically all negative for nothing -- THIS IS FACTUAL INFO and if you move here you are seriously a BIG FOOL! I never received my referral fee of $500 from the rental office, the maintenance sucks and they take months to fix anything, security is not consistent. I mean, anything that you can possibly think of that you wish could never happen living in an apartment HAPPENS HERE! Serioulsy, it's probably worse than "Good Times" because unlike JJ and Penny, there are NO GOODTIMES living at the Phoenix. The rent is ridiculous -- now starting at $40 shy of $1100 for a one bedroom. Utilies ARE NOW BEING CHARGED FOR EXISTING TENANTS WHO RENEW THEIR LEASE AND NEW TENANTS! The worse part about it -- you are not being charged for actual usage instead it is supposed to be based on how many people live in your unit and square footage but this is NOT the case b/c I have spoken with several people who have complaints that their bill is from $200-400 and it's like this whether you have a one or a two bedroom renovated or not! JUST RIDICULOUS. DON'T MOVE HERE. I don't have mice but roaches are a disturbing issue...it's like there are millions because they never stop coming I swear. They are even in the dayum elevators for God's sake...RIDICULOUS! And the leasing consultants are rude and unprofessional to the highest degree. I can't wait until my lease is up because I am getting the hell up out of here immediately. P.S. The laundry machines do not work 9 out of 10 times and people are still pissing in the elevators. They finally just changed the carpet on almost all floors in the 5802 bldg. but things are still not improving. POOR COMMUNITY, POOR SERVICE, POOR QUALITY. The Donaldson Group -- I will never rent from you again!
