Dangerous area

When I first moved into Governor's Green, I was extremely happy with my choice. The apartment was quite spacious, the staff were very friendly and the neighbors were quiet and respectful. However, this initial happiness quickly evaporated.
The children around here seem to run without supervision at all hours. It is not unlikely to see a group of kids sitting in the courtyard at 2 a.m. Additionally, I caught a group of kids trying to break into my garage and then spray painting the side of a trailer. I reported this activity to the office staff, after filing a police report, and the staff was quite ignorant to the issue and basically told me "oh well."
There is also the problem of rogue towing, which I also reported to the office staff. Continental towing, which was the contracted towing company for Archstone, was towing vehicles from the complex, illegally storing them on the complex (which is illegal) and then making people pay extra to get their car back. I talked to the police, who informed me that this activity is super wrong and then told me that they were conducting an investigation into this activity.
I told the office staff and they told me to "mind your own business" and you are "way too nosey." Come to find out that it was suspected that the office staff MAY (not proven, opinion only) have been receiving kickbacks from the towing company.
Bottom line, the office staff is completely rude and ignorant to the tenets needs. Crime is high, the area is dangerous and the rent is increasing. Any place will have its pros and cons, but be aware of what Archstone Governor's Green has to offer.

There are signs posted that our parking lots are private property and that if Carrabbas patrons park they will be towed. If they didn't tow then US RESIDENTS would never be able to find parking during dinner time (time when most people come home from work). I personally don't want to have to walk accross the complex with 10 bags of groceries because people from Carrabbas take up all of my building's parking.

While your response is appreciated, you really don't know what you are talking about when it comes to the crime that has happened in Governors Green. If Continental Towing wasn't doing wrong, the owner would not have been convicted in PG court for various offenses involving his towing practice. In fact, as a result of Continental Towing, PG has enacted new towing laws to protect you. This happened because of the horrible violations Continental Towing was doing at Governors Green. Additionally, Continental Towing was towing Archstone RESIDENTS for parking on the white line. I was charged almost $600 because my car was towed because I parked over the white line in a parking lot where there were no other cars. Get your facts straight before you defend a criminal. If you need further information, I urge you to look up Maryland criminal actions involving Continental Towing at the local court house.
