I love the location and the look of my apartment inside and out.
However, as a new resident I don't feel safe as every week there is a new posting on my door with some new crime that has been commited (forced entries during the day, robbery at gunpoint, etc)

The last incident that was posted was back in January. We put out incident notices to make residents aware of situations and to heighten their awareness of their surroundings. We certainly do not want to scare anyone but we beleive that as a resident you would want to know what is going on in your area. Looking at the crime statistics for Bowie and paticularly where Governors Green is located, you will find that it is considered a nice place to live.

I would really like to move here, but as a single person I am very fearful for my safety. I have to pay attention to what tenants are saying in 2009. I'm scared!
