Well let's see...I've now lived here for 3 months. I have a Silverfish problem that nobody can seem to help me with, the fire alarms have gone off 2 times now...both on a weeknight at Ungodly hours causing me to stand outside in the sleet while i waited for Firefighters to tell me it was safe, I have some of the loudest neighbors humanly possible, the intrusion alarm wouldn't stop going off...maintainance told me i had to wait overnight to get it fixed...while it went off i ended up riping it out of the wall and dismantling it myself to get it to stop, no calls to the rental office ever get answered...and don't bother leaving voicemails cuz they are never returned, the staff is friendly but nobody ever knows what's going on...you can talk to someone about something at 1pm and talk to the same person at 1:30pm and they have NO idea what you're talking about and swear they've never talked to you...(i doubt 2 seperate women named Jean work there!) Parking SUCKS!!!!! Never make the mistake i did like buying groceries at 10pm because i had to park next to the rental office a few blocks away and keep walking back and forth w/ my groceries....after 9pm parking is horrible....you're lucky if you get a space since it's first-come-first serve. I personally am going to have a nervous breakdown if one more thing happens to this place....Oh did i mention that the snow made cars collapse totallying my roommates car'!@#
And that I'm getting 1-900 Calls on my verizon bill because verizon has told me the phone wiring in the apartment in faulty and I'd have to pay to get it fixed because it was never put in correctly...and the rental office won't pay for it.....so i had to get rid of my telephone! Now that i'm done venting.....the rent i personally feel is too much for this apt...it's new so it's pretty clean, washer and dryer in the Unit..NICE! Most people there are quite friendly, i have yet to use the gym,(doesn't look too bad), but bottom line LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! it's great having everything so close don't get me wrong my overall impression of the place is good and I doubt that anyone else has gone thru the trauma that I have but I am glad I only have a 6-month lease because I'm moving OUT i can't wait to get away from the B.S. Just make sure you talk to people who live here to see what they say....do your research before moving here!
AND IF ANYONE FROM ARCHSTONE SEES THIS CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME W/ THE SILVERFISH PROBLEM'''!@# THE EXTERMINATOR YOU HAVE NOW ISN'T WORKING MAYBE YOU NEED SOMEONE ELSE OR MAYBE I NEED TO CALL MY LAWYER I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO LIVE W/ INSECTS INVADING MY HOME!

BrianNFabi - Yeah Right Buddy?? This was my review from a few years ago. I was there in 2003 when we had a snow storm and the -------built reserved car ports collapsed on numerous residents cars. Just go ask any long-term residents. Moving out of that hell-hole was the best move I EVER MADE!
