Bowie Town Center (now named Meridian at Bowie) underwent a change in management some time around the end of August '07, and the place is STILL experienceing major problems. The new management has shown a complete lack of ability to manage the property with any sort of success or customer service. The gate does not work properly (many nights I come home to a line of cars trying to get the gate to open). The trash compactor fills to overflowing almost every week - leaving piles of trash surrounding the area. The management is apathetic and unwilling to handle complaints about the property. And why should they' As long as people continue to rent they have no reason to change their careless ways. That is why I ask you to please not reward their poor performance. Please DO NOT rent at Bowie Town Center!

I use to live there too and I moved out at the end of December. The have complete disregard for their residents and the new management is rude and highly unprofessional. Please explain to me why 3 months after I moved I was still receiving an water bill from them and they never informed Washington Gas that I moved. I had to call Washington Gas almost ten times after my first initial call and they still charged me for two extra months of gas usage after I moved because they could never get in touch with the leasing department. Also, the office was constantly closing and I don't even believe that the people in that department actually work at all. I lived there for 2 and a half years and when the new Property Manager came in August I didn't even meet her until December when I moved and I was in that office all the time. Absolutely horrible!!! Do not move here.
