I visited the property about 2 weeks ago in seacrh for an apartment and this is what I saw:

1)From the outside it is very very nice...and I figured since it was in Bowie it should be a great place to live.....umm...NOT!!!!!!

2)Just to talk to a leasing agent took over an hour because they were on the phones.The property manager NEVER came from in the back to offer any assistance and all the leasing agents said was: "i'll be right with you...feel free to get some coffee ect"...well i went to the coffee machine and not only were they low on coffee/hot chocolate there were no cups...SO I THOUGHT if it is like this now...it will be 10 times worst when I move.

3)The apartment showed great...washer/dryer huge bathroom and master bedroom....I almost forgot about the hour and a half wait for someone to talk to me, the over crowded parking, and the DUMPSTER that I saw while on the property that looked like it had 3 months of trash left in it....until.....

4)On my way back to the rental office to fill out an app the leasing agent asked if I knew anybody that lived on the property...I said I used to but I dont know if he still resided there...she asked his name and I told her...well apparently she knew the guy...WELL GET THIS...she calls the guy up right in front of me and says..."u know im about to hook you up with a resident referral"....she then told him that I was in the office filling out an app...when she hung up I was so disturbed by what she had just done that I couldnt even speak...I didnt want him in my business or even kowing that I was planning on moving there....so i asked her what a resident referral meant...she said IF I MOVE IN AND STAY FOR MORE THAN 30 DAYS THAT HE WOULD GET A ONE TIME CREDIT TO HIS RENT (ABOUT $400) BECAUSE HE WAS MY REFERRAL...since I knew him!!!!!!!!!!!!....WHAT'''''''!!!! I didnt put him down as a referral and why is he getting anything....they were trying to almost get 2 grand a month out of me and HE gets money off his rent and I havent even talked to this guy in the past 3 years....

ONCE THIS HAPPENED I KINDLY TURNED in MY APP since they waived the fee and it was free to apply and have NOT ANSWERED THE PHONE when they have called....this was an AWFUL place...now the guy has been calling me trying to figure out if I am moving so he can get a discount...so she basically put a burden on my personal life because I am getting ready to get my phone number changed because he keeps calling....I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISGUSTED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE....

This was a guy that I knew previously so he had my phone number anyway. I just hadn't talked to him for like 3 years but my phone number stayed the same. So by her bringing me up he must have dug up my number to make sure that he would get his discount.

Wow...I work in property management in Bel Air, MD (and I worked here at Meridian a few yrs ago) If I were you I would call and ask to speak with the manager. The leasing rep had no right to get someone else involved in your personal affairs. How did "this guy" get your phone number anyway? Hopefully brain-dead agent didnt give it to him.... Good luck! (and if you ever move north the Bel Air "The Seasons at Bel Air" has a lot to offer....(always marketing...lol)

I am a Property Manager of a luxury Hi Rise an if any one of my leasing consultants did this they would be written up or fired. I'mnot surprised. Nothing surpirses me with this place. GHETTO They can't even give out a residents apt number or phone number if some asks. I live her on for conveience and I hate it. Moving in less than 2 weeks. Thank God.
