We just moved here from Rosecroft Mews (don't move there). We had such high expectations for this place. We toured the model and fell in love. The grounds look great. The leasing staff seemed friendly. The apartments are huge and the outside appearance of them are great too. We applied and signed for an apartment. Move in day: we got there at 10:30am to get the keys. Too bad for us, we had no idea that you couldn't move in until 2pm. Our leasing consultant never told us that. Okay, no biggie. Well, we can't even see the place because they are cleaning my carpet and touching up the paint. What' On our MOVE IN day' When we finally get the keys and go up, the carpet is still wet. The movers are sliding around the place and the boxes are getting soaked. The standard paint is off white. It was obvious to us that they use plain white paint for the touch-up. Also, we had chosen yellow for our accent wall. They never painted it. The next day, we had ants. We sprayed them with Raid and we've not seen any since. Also, my oven wasn't working, but it was the circuit breaker. Our ceiling fan stopped working, but they replaced it. They are also coming over to fix the paint job. What stunned me was seeing people driving with trash on their cars because there is only ONE dumpster/compactor in the entire complex. Never have I seen anything like that. Our leasing consultant boasted about whirlpool appliances in all apartments -- none of our appliances are whirlpool. All in all, we love our apartment. It is huge and Bowie is a nice area. I hope I'm not back on this website trash talking in a few months...
