More bad than good

i hate this place. generally, the people who live here are decent, working people like myself -- going to work, coming home, going to bed. but there are just enough people here with no class whatsoever that it makes living here a pain. i will be moving once my lease expires, and i have to say that I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone -- especially anyone with kids (like me).
Some of my gripes:
* A lot of ignorant people live here; the kind who throw garbage out of 2nd floor windows to avoid having to carry it downstairs; the kind who blast music at all hours.
* They say it's all utilities paid, but that changes if you want air conditioning (which you have to supply yourself). If you install a little A/C unit, your rent immediately goes up $55 a month.
* No dishwashers.
* Old buildings; everything has 76 layers of paint on it.
* Kitchen appliances are from the Stone Age.
* Hot water is very unpredictable/unreliable.
* Crime is also a concern: more than once I've gone out to the parking lot to find cars broken into.
Probably more, but I don't have time to write it all. I suppose it could be a lot worse -- for instance, my building had a serious roach problem when i moved in, but it seems like they've got that under control now (although maybe that was just Winter).
Anyway, if you've got time to find other options (I didn't at the time I rented), I'd say take a pass on this place.
