Beautifully appointed garden-style homes. The finest apartment living in St. Marys County. At least thats what their website at www.apartmentsofwildewood offer. I think not.

Ive been a resident of the Apartments of Wildewood in California, Maryland for a little over four months. I moved to this area with my family, my husband and elementary-aged sons. We were expecting just what the Apartments of Wildewood were said to offer, top quality service. While the customer service offered by the leasing team has been outstanding and courteous, the complex itself is quickly loosing its luster. Newly built in 2004, the building exteriors remain sound and appealing. My two biggest complaints though are the pet refuse and the abundance of noise.

According to item #3 of the Community Policies and Procedures, pet owners must clean up after their pets and adhere to all other guidelines included in the Pet Addendum. Plastic bags are offered at Clean-Up Stations around the complex, but the yard shows anything but a sterile atmosphere. Kids simply cannot play with their toys, a ball, or even learn to walk their first few steps in the cushiony grassy areas. Theyre too full of dog-doo. Im embarrassed for family guests to visit my building, as they had to walk around the pile of disgust in front of the main door. It had been there for several days. And what has been done to curb this disaster' The customer service staff held a Customer Appreciation Week and handed out ice cream. Wonderful job girls, but next time this Customer would appreciate a Pooper-Scooper Service.

The noise is overwhelming! Incredibly annoying! Sleep depriving! This complex is full of early 20s and as we all recall, the best party years of your life are in your early 20sright!'! I wish someone would explain this to my young son, who is continuously woken up in the middle of the night by drunken barhopping 20s. For instance, between the hours of 9 last night and 3:00 this morning, we had a howler. Someone so inebriated he mustve thought he was a werewolf and howled to the moon on his porch ALL NIGHT LONG. I received two drunk buzzes (very similar to drunk dialing) at 1:00 and 2:30 am. Each time I rushed to my door, hit the talk button to alarm them that this is not tolerated and the police will be called. Honestly though, in fear of retaliation, the police werent called. Foul language and belligerent actions clearly indicated these 20s were the fighting type and I wasnt about to have my family in harms way. Anyone for fireworks' This is just one more example of a 1:30 am wake up call, courtesy of our fun-loving 20s in the complex. Too bad it was a weekday and work wasnt calling in another 4 hours. And what's with the dumpsters being emptied at 4:30 in the morning, weekdays. Ugh.

I am an extremely dissatisfied Customer. Im simply not residing in the best apartment living in St. Marys County. I strongly urge potential residents to look away. Think of your familys health and think of your own sleepless nights.
