my mother moved to addison chapel back in october 1995. at first it was a beautiful place. we lived in building 4801 (right on addison rd.. the very first building) it was always quiet. grounds were well kept. laundry room was always clean and in tack. maintance would respond within two days of a work order being called in. the rental office staff was pretty nice and friendly.

bue to the peace and quiet of the neighborhood, my father also moved into the complex in 1996. me and my younger brother didn't care too much for the area, as we are northeast born and raised. so we were used to excitement. people outside hanging out etc. we would always complain about it was wayyy too quiet for us over there.

fast forward to late 1998 until the time my mother moved out in 2004. it was horrible. the maintance team was slipping big time. the second court was like barry farms. my younger brother and his friends were shot at and robbed multiple times. too many low income tenants moved in and everything just went from sugar to shyt overnight. even the wonder bread bakery fell off during this time.

we never had a rodent or bug problem. but they would refuse to paint your unit unless you agreed to sign a new lease.

i was so happy when my mother finally decided it was time to move, i could wait to get a uhaul and get her out of there. and now the violence in the area is crazy. back in 2005 a close friend of mines son was carjacked and killed in the second court while visitng his girlfriend.

now when i pass by there and see the "now leasing signs" (that never come down) i just laugh because moving there is a joke in itself.

MRS. CARRIE RENTAL MANAGER IS THE MOST RUDEST, FAKEST PERSON I HAVE EVER MET. IF SHE DOES NOT LIKE YOU SHE WILL MAKE SURE YOUR ASS WILL BE EVICTED. SHE IS A STRAIGHT UP ----- IF YOU NOT IN TIES WITH HER SHE WILL TREAT YOU LIKE ----. MAINTEANCE PEOPLE DOES NOT RESPOND TO YOUR CALLS. PLACES ARE TOO SMALL REMINDS ME OF A SHOE BOX HIGH DRUG CRIME AREA. TEANTS ARE RUDE AND LOUD AND GHETTO. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO A DOG. THEY ALSO HAVE BED BUGS AS WELL AS LOUD TEANTS WHO PLAYS MUSIC ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT. IF YOU ENJOY LOUD NOISE AT ALL HOURS OF THE DAY AND NIGHT THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. TOW TRUKS TOWS CARS EVERYDAY AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE RATHER YOU HAVE A PERMIT OR NOT. ONCE AGAIN BE AWARE OF MRS CARRIE SHE IS A -----. I AM SO GLAD I MOVED.
