I have lived around Capital Courts for about a year now and let me tell you that I live in the back and it is not I repeat NOT what you want. The kids hang out all of the time, anytime of the night. Fights are crazy around there I have seen a dude get stomped out. There has been at least one shoot out since I have lived here. The police just come and sit at the front of the complex and look on but ---- they don't care either. The actual apartment itself is not too too bad, if you have to move here just start having them to exterminate immediately because there is a roach problem. So in order to get it under control you must do this. Also maintenace is too too slow unless you flirt and it may move a little faster. I recommend living on the second or third levels because the steps are a killer! If you have young children or you have a lot of laundry, groceries to bring in please don't live on the top. Even though you are not supposed to have pets people do and they are trifling with it dog ---- in the hallways and the buildings smell like piss! Home is what you make it is not the best but trust I have seen worse! Did I mention I am moving! :0)

I lived at Capitol Courts Apartments for about a year and a half. I couldn't wait to get up outta there. They reel you in with the nice looking model apartment but these should truly be a housing project for just trifling, loser tenants. First off, ALL of the buildings smell like piss and are used as trash cans. Little thugs shooting dice in and in front of buildings. Numerous times, I came home to find drug paraphanalia in the hallway. The smell of weed was a constant and the steps were falling apart. The apartments are TINY, the structure and condition of the whole apartment was horrible. I had to spackle and paint some of the walls just so I wouldn't cringe every time I looked at them. Chipped bathroom tile & baseboards. My balcony screen door was literaly torn/ripped...just plain ole raggedy and was never fixed while I was there. The balony door was taped around the base. Bathroom floor was stained and filthy....I literally had to get on my hands and knees and scrub with bleach and a spatula to scrape the dirt from in between the tiles. Windows were raggedy, some had no screens and you had to lift and slide with both hands. TThis was by far the worst place I have ever resided and wouldn't reccomend them to my worst enemy. They need to be torn down or just rented to people who just don't give a ----!!!!! I just bought nice furnishings just to be able to stand the place. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!
