New management should have been the first new addition to this list. This post is as sincere as the business practices of the company Miles Properties. As an 11 year tennant i feel more like a hostage with my in house voucher. I currently house my children along with wall to wall roaches which seem to be fed by my leaking roof, both have gone untreated as well as unfixed even with my constant pleas for help. Tennants are directed not to contact third parties ie housing or corperate in assistance even when local management fall short of what should be handled by them. We are told to keep contacting the local office until we see resolve even if its not to happen for months at a time. We the tennants are made to live in deplorable conditions as management goes on with business as usual. A HOMICIDE took place on the property a week ago even though we are supposed to have security theres nothing secure about the property. They have shot off exterior lights as well as lights inside of buildings creating a blackout further compormising the safety of the paying tennants. They have towed vehicles of the residents for changes made in parking permits even when they did not have the new permits to give to tennants. They have also misplaced apartment keys from the rental office resulting in several proprtywide unforced entry robberies. Some of which the tennants have been tied and bound during these incidents with their children present. One would think contacting corperate would help. I was told directly by management they had no contact person and to try and get in contact with the operater who never seems to pick up. Manager Mrs.Richards, Utility Manager Lakenya currently in office are in diar need of professional training I havent a clue as to the hiring process for Miles Properties but i am sure it needs revising. Big Business Stinks and we the tennants can tell you our first hand experiences. If ever you need a review just stop any one of us and we will give you the truth about the property, its handeling or lack thereof, and the managers in office, and the blind eye turned on this eyesore by corperate. Its true you can not judge a book by its cover so if you stop by make sure your last stop is not the rental office. Talk to the tennants.
