I had made comments early on that it was ok here. Well things have gone down hill. Just like now it's Sunday (Labor Day) weekend and you have kids young kids in the hallway talking loud and it is 1:41am. I just don't understand what in the hell is wrong with their parents. My building was quite until new people moved in. Now you have to ask two and three times for the kids to get off of the steps so that you can come in. They eat candy and sunflower seeds and leave them all over the hallway. I have had my mailbox locked changed without anyone telling me they were doing so. When I asked why it was changed no one had an answer. Because I could not get in my mailbox for a while the post office stop delivering the mail. The new people in the rental office act like they don't know what they are doing. In the last two months I have been told two diffrent amounts that I am suppose to be paying for rent. They never come to fix anything, so I stop calling. My car has been hit twice in the parking lot within the last 5 months, and you know they kept going. The people are just rude and getto around here and I am sick of it. I see why kids do not respect anything or anybody, because you have parents sitting around smoking with them. I am getting out of here now!!!!!!!!!!!

Whoever you are, God bless you honey. I lived in Hillside Heights from 2000-2003. I got out while the gettin' was good and before the ---- really hit the fan. I was a school teacher in PG and I too found it sad and shocking that parents would let their children terrorize the premise. My car was towed mistakingly, and at that time the office management atleast pretended to care. I didn't have to pay for the towing, but the experience was damn near tramatizing. The key lock on my car was destroyed thanks to some ghetto ass who tried to steal it. Thank God they didn't take it and damage was minimal! The laundry rooms were beginning to look real bad before I left. People would leave their dirty underwear on top of the machines and garbage was put anywhere in that laundry room ....disgusting! Kids and young adults loitering and smoking, etc... was a beginning problem when I was about to leave. i had to ask people to move out of my way after a hard days work or after coming from the grocery store!..just to get into my apartment! My neighbor used to play his music so loud that a few times when in my bedroom, i thought my stereo in the living room had automatically turned on and was playing..that's how loud and clear it was...no exxageration. The only good things i will say is, i didn't have a roach problem, maintenance came quickly or atleast in a few days, ...I stayed in the building pretty close to the rental office so things were about as decent as Hillside can get. What I learned was paying a couple of hundred more dollars is worth my peace of mind. I pray for you - be strong. It's no fun living and paying for and in a place you don't care for. God will cover you and your car until you leave,..you'll see. try Sussex Square around the corner on Brooks Drive. I stayed their for 2 years before moving out here to VA. It was the best rental experience I had in PG abd I hear it is still good. The people in the office are Christian Church folk who do a great job of property management. Keep your head up! God bless!

I have to agree with you both. I have been here since Dec 03 and I am looking to move at any moment. This place is absolutely ridiculous in regards to management, neighbors, noice, the whole nine yards. I look forward to moving as soon as possible and would NEVER recommend these apartments to anyone, not even a roach. I am very dissatisfied and this is my first time renting. It has truly put a bad taste in my mouth. The buildings need to be demolished and rebuilt as well they need to fire and rehire a new management team all the way around.

Ya, they are quick to send out the eviction notice, even when you have paid your rent on time.
