Oh my God! I have lived here for 2 yrs. I have lived w/the neighborhood fake thugs; the bad ass kids that apparently don't have any parents; the unprofessional, incompetent rental office staff (Erma & Staff except Wanda (she does a great job); the fix-things-when-they-feel-like-working maintenance staff; the loud gun shots blasting in the back of my apts. at night; the loud music and people that I can here through the walls; the not having air condition for the past 2 summers because I live on the top floor and it will only get 20 degrees cooler below what the temperature is outside excuse (ex. if it's 102 outside, then it's 82 in the 3rd floor apts.) and the rats & roaches. Don't expect to go directly to u're apt w/out disturbing one of the kids/young adults/grown ass men & women on the steps. And the undercover black cop car that's there does nothing but sit at the entrance. But guess what' When u get gate passes, don t expect to use them because the yellow front gate doesn t work. And if u want to wash ur clothes, u'r better off going to the laundry mat next door, because if u go downstairs, u're interrupting the drug dealers & the sexually active teenagers that can t do it in mama & daddy s house. Oh, & don't come home after 8:30pm because then, u're crashing the nightly neighborhood block party that goes until 3:30 in the morning sum (depending if it's a week day, if it's the weekend, good luck getting sleep.) Then Erma has a nerve to send out a letter saying that we all have to work together to improve the community, it s not just them. Right, if they move d in the right people that will pay their rent, raise their kids the right way instead of letting them hang out in the parking lot & work & hustle like everybody else, then it wouldn t be a problem. I have a 2 brm & it's big to me & the rent is cheap but that's it. I'm a young, married young lady w/no children & I am the age that most of these people outside are. I have a job & try not to disturb anybody. I'm not saying that I'm too good, because I'm struggling too, but I know I deserve better. These are some of the many reasons why I'm moving out in Sept. Stay far away from here! I used to live in Waldorf but now I can t afford it. The front property is nice because the rental office is there but Lee Jay Court is not the place to live. Even if this is u'r e first apartment, don t waste the drive, the gas & the money to stop through here. Save yourselves.
P.S. Did I mention that maintenance took 3 months to fix the front cover of my stove and I could not fix thanksgiving dinner & since HUD came at the end of May, I'm still waiting for my kitchen drawer to be fixed. & if you have 2 bdrms on the 3rd floor, don't expect air condition when it IS working in the other rooms.

You must no longer live here, becuase if you did you would know that whoever this Wanda and Erma chicks are they no longer work at the office! I moved in a few months ago and the only people I've had to deal with in the office are Carmen and Mr. Bright! Security is always around and even the kids that were hanging out accross the street are now gone! I come home all kinds of hours because of my job, and have never had a problem with people hanging out. As for the management! They are changing the community for the better! And just like someone before me mentioned if you graduated from ghetto school and looking for a place to live THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU! Maintenace has always been on time and gotten things right the first time.
